The Bytel Position Monitor (BPM) is a simple, yet
highly effective communication system that allows the operator to remotely control and monitor multiple
sites 24-hours per day, 365-days per year. The BPM operates with a host unit and up to
eight field units. The host unit is transportable allowing mobile monitoring, from outside
the office, within the footprint of the radio system.

Benefits
Remote control
and monitoring of valuable equipment and operations.
Easy and
inexpensive to install. Does not require a computer to operate. The
system uses simple two-way radio technology.
Reduces time
spent "driving the sites" to manually monitor functions.
Allows for
immediate shut-down in the event of malfunction without requiring personnel to visit the
site and perform manual operations.
If the
location being monitored "changes state" an alarm will sound at the host unit,
immediately notifying the user of a problem. This will reduce damage to valuable equipment
by reducing the time it may take to identify the problem.
The BPM host
can be expanded to fit customer expansion requirements, providing enhanced capabilities
and additional field units.
Ideal for
control of remote access via two-way radio. The Bytel host unit and field units form a
controlled loop for manipulating virtually any remote field need.
